These warm up sheets are designed for you to use straight away at the start of your practice, or even before a performance.
This sheet is suitable for anyone working towards grade one. It features appropriate scales and lip flexibility exercises.
Take your time when using this warm up and really listen to the sound you are making. Make sure that it feels good. Don’t progress onto your music until you are happy with it.
Which is the most important activity on this sheet? Probably the two scales at the bottom. Get them practiced. You should be able to play both of these scales, from memory, and at a moderate speed.
This piece of sheet music is written in the treble clef and can be played by any higher pitched instrument. We recommend however that it is played on a trumpet, cornet, tenor horn, french horn or treble clef baritone, trombone, euphonium or tuba.
