Butterfly is a piece of brass sheet music written at about the grade one standard. This is the treble clef version which is written in C Major. (No sharps of flats)
This piece has a focus on the grade 1 arpeggios. C Major and A Minor arpeggio respectively. You can see this on bar one and three, and throughout the piece.
It is also written in 3/4 time signature, so make sure that you are counting to three, especially on your dotted minims.
We recommend that it is played on any higher pitched brass instrument like a trumpet, cornet, euphonium, French horn, tenor horn, tenor trombone or even a treble clef tuba.
