Butterfly is a piece of brass sheet music written at about the grade one standard. This is the bass clef version which is written in Bb Major (two flats).
This piece has a focus on the grade 1 arpeggios. Bb Major and G Minor arpeggio respectively. You can see this on bar one and three, and throughout the piece.
It is also written in 3/4 time signature, so make sure that you are counting to three, especially on your dotted minims.
This version of Butterfly is written in bass clef, and can be used by any bass clef instrument. We recommend that it is played on any lower pitched brass instrument, like tuba, euphonium or bass trombone.
